Today I met a pilgrim struggling with a shoulder injury. You could see the pain in his face.
Then I met James from Australia. His arm was wrapped from surgery to remove skin cancer, and he told me his body runs hotter now after all the radiotherapy he's had. The day before, he'd bitten down on something hard in a sandwich and lost a dental implant. He's in real pain, and he can't get it treated until he's home.
We never know what a person is carrying. Most struggles don't show on the outside. It's a reminder to give people a little more grace before we make judgement.
Meet Vina. He's walking the Camino. He is so happy!Spanish aqueduct.
