About my Journey

I'm walking the Camino Francés (the "French Way"), which is the oldest and most traveled of all the routes to Santiago de Compostela. I'll begin in the little town of Roncesvalles, Spain. The path winds down out of the Pyrenees mountains, then threads through Pamplona, the vineyards of La Rioja, and the historic cities of Burgos and León before crossing the wide, quiet plains of the meseta and rising into the green hills of Galicia. Pilgrims have followed this same road for more than a thousand years, and much of it still passes through medieval villages, over Roman bridges, and past churches built for the very travelers who came before us.

I'll be updating this page as I go and marking the stages I've completed, sharing where I am along the way, and carrying with me the prayer intentions so many of you have sent.
