Long dirt road through fields under cloudy sky with a person walking in the distance toward rolling hills.

Estella → Los Arcos

It was a good day today. 14 miles, but lots of cloud cover, so it wasn't bad. I know nearly every face on the trail by now. There's a certain community that's built on the trail. I'm a little worried I'm going to lose that when I take a rest day in Logroño, but we'll see. Worse case I'll make new friends.

Stone wall with a vintage metal water fountain and Spanish signs displaying usage rules and drinking age restrictions.
This is the famous wine fountain. It's filled with wine in the morning so that pilgrims passing through can have a taste. I filled my Camino shell and had a taste. The sign outside reads, "Pilgrim if you want to arrive in Santiago with strength and vitality, take a sip of this great wine and toast to happiness."
Blacksmith working by fiery forge in rustic outdoor workshop filled with tools and ironwork in evening light
This little shop on the trail makes iron art with a forge.
Couple walking hand in hand on a dirt path surrounded by greenery and trees under a cloudy sky.
I passed this couple yesterday and again today. Both times they were holding hands.
Golden harvested field with rolling hills and cloudy sky in the background under soft light.
