I recovered as well as can be expected from my first day. No blisters, which is a big win. I'm already starting to see familiar faces on the trail and even in restaurants in town. It's fun to smile and catch up. Yes, I'm hiking El Camino alone right now, but I'm not alone. The lord wants us to be in communion with each other and with him. We were not made to experience life alone. He wants us to lean on each other and help each other through our journeys. Life is way more pleasant when we're sharing experiences with others.
